Nova Deruta Italian Ceramic Canister

A Ceramica Nova Deruta glazed ceramic storage canister with a fitted lid, made in Italy. The body features traditional Italian scrolling acanthus leaves and floral motifs decorated with decal-printed outlines and hand-painted colored enamels. The lid is surmounted by a yellow swirled knob handle, and the underside bears the stamped maker mark.Height: 6.5 inchesSmall glaze flaking and minor chips along the lid rim, with light surface wear to the inner lid flange. The main container body and interior remain clean with minor firing specks and light shelf wear to the unglazed foot ring.
