DAVIS is located in the lower right corner, rendered in orange-red pigment. The painting is housed in a large, ornate gilded frame featuring molded shell and foliate ornaments at the centers and corners. 31.5 x 54.75 inches (total frame size).The oil painting is in generally good condition with light surface dirt and dust accumulation. The gilded frame shows significant condition issues, including numerous chips and losses to the gesso and gold finish along the bottom rail and corners.
