This large-scale contemporary abstract work, titled Temple Bells and Tea, is by Canadian artist Danielle O'Connor Akiyama. The work is hand-signed by the artist and is accompanied by a red circular artist seal and the edition number 12/55. The verso includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Brushstrokes Fine Art Inc. of Richmond Hill, Ontario, identifying the work as Publisher’s Proof #12/55 PP from a total edition of 260. 44.5 x 52.25 inches (frame). The work appears to be in excellent condition. There is no evidence of paint loss, craquelure, or surface damage to the canvas. The frame is structurally sound with very minor surface wear consistent with age and handling.
