Rare early RS Prussia porcelain bowl in Mold OM 54. It has large relief molded leaves and scrollwork along the edge. Decorated with large hand colored pink, purple and yellow poppies. The relief molded leaves are green and there are yellow highlights along the edge of the bowl. It is unmarked, but this mold can be seen on page 93 of RS Prussia the Early Years. The bowl does have an approximately 1 1/2 inch star shaped discolored hairline on the inside, at the bottom of one of the large molded leaves. Please see photos. There is also a chip to the foot rim and a very small flake to the foot rim. It also looks like the bowl originally had gilding around the edge and to some of the relief molding, most of which has worn off. It is still very pretty and appears to be a rare early form.
