Rare green color unembossed blank squat soda bottle in an unusual tall skinny lager shape. Iron pontiled base with applied blob type lip. Circa 1850s. This is a rare example of this particular mold of unembossed pontiled soda attributed to having been blown at a Baltimore Glassworks during the 1850s. There are several embossed sodas of this same shape from Baltimore and these blank example turn up on rare occasion in Baltimore privies. I have only seen 3 examples of this rare bottle, the last to sell was almost 15 years ago. Dug with overall patchy iridescent staining but no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 2 1/2 inch wide x 8 inches tall. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30. Please contact us after you have paid your invoice to arrange and pay for Shipping. International buyers please contact us for a shipping quote. We will also combine purchased lots at a discounted rate where possible.
