Antique British ironstone plate. Decorated in the Octagonal Panel of Flowers pattern with hand colored orange, green, pink, cobalt, and gold highlights. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse Masons Patent Ironstone China. Also has the pattern number 3271 on the inside of the foot rim. Produced by Charles James Mason. Circa 1845 to 1854. Has a lot of wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/8 inches wide.
