Nice antique French porcelain pedestal tea cup and saucer. With scalloped gilding on the outside of the cup. The inside of the cup and the saucer are decorated with hand painted flowers in pink, purple, red, white, blue, yellow, orange, and white alternating with raised gold floral scrollwork. Gold encrusted band and thin gold bands along the edge. Gold gilding to the handle. Signed below the flowers inside the cup Mireille. Marked on the reverse CA France. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Charles Ahrenfeldt in Limoges France between 1894 and the 1930s. Also marked in gold Charles Reizenstein Company Allegheny PA CA France. Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. No chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
