Nice mid to late 19th century faience cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink rose, purple, blue, and yellow floral swags. Gold gilding along the edge. Has a pseudo / spurious Sceaux mark on the bottom in blue. Also has a blue conjoined double S mark indicating it is a copy made by Edme Samson of Paris. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
