Antique 19th century hand blown Russian fiery opaline glass urn. Decorated with small blue hand enameled flowers with gold and metallic flowers. With gold bands around the neck, stem, and base. Ground and polished pontiled base. Circa 1820. This originally would have had gilt ormolu handles. Has a small hole on either side of the vase with small flakes around the hole and a small in manufacture crack extending off one of the holes. There is wear and scratches to the rim and sides where the handles would have been. Also has wear to the gilding, a large chip to one of the corners of the base, and a few small flakes to the corners of the base. Otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 4 inches wide x 9 3/8 inches tall. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
