A 14 5/8 in long porcelain platter with a lovely hand-painted design of the Japanese countryside with Mt. Fuji in the background and a cherry tree along a river in the foreground. The bowl is marked "Made in Occupied Japan" with the Aito China hallmark. Please note that we're also listing a matching deep vegetable bowl and would consider an offer (and shipping discount) for the purchase of both pieces. MEASUREMENTS 14 5/8 in (37.1 cm) long x 10 ¼u188? in (26.0 cm) tall x 1 3/8 in (3.4 cm) deep. Weighs 2 lbs 11.1 oz. CONDITION The bowl has no chips, cracks or breaks. The enamels are in excellent condition with only very light wear to the gilding along the rim. Period: 1950s Origin: Japan Materials: Porcelain Dimensions: 14.62"W × 10.25"D × 1.32"H
