A large deep ceramic yellow ware food mold with ornate moldings and a central design of an ear of corn. A large molded ceramic form for molding foods during the Victorian era. The clay color is a pale ochre. The glaze is a smooth, shiny glaze with a fine crackle. It has a nice heavy weight. The foot is unglazed. There are no marks or labels. MEASUREMENTS 9" (22.9 cm) long x 7 ½" (19.0 cm) wide x 3 7/8" (9.8 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lb 7.5 oz (1125 g) CONDITION There are no cracks or breaks. There are a few small chips on the foot. There are two small holes in the interior. There are kiln flaws such as bumps, pimples, dark dots, a mold error, and reserves. A very large decorative food mold that will make a statement in the kitchen. Period: Late 19th Century Materials: Ceramic Dimensions: 9"W × 7.5"D × 3.88"H
