A heavy cast metal bookend of the USS Constitution riding on the waves with sails unfurled. The side of the ship displays its iron canon ports. The cast grey metal bookend has been given a gilt/brass patina with verdigris highlights. MEASUREMENTS 6 in (15.2 cm) wide x 2 in (5.1 cm) deep x 5 1/8 in (13.0 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 7.5 oz. CONDITION The very tip of the bow is missing. There are no other chips, cracks, breaks, or dents. There are significant losses to the gold patina; however, it still has nice gold and green look. The felt is missing from the base. A heavy bookend to use on your bookshelves or add to a collection. It has a nice antique look.
