The teapot has a 8 cup + capacity. The cobalt is a nice, rich blue. The glaze has a slightly blue cast. The inside, rim of the lid, and the concave foot are unglazed. The lower portion of the body is also unglazed and has had a coating applied to prevent the teapot from slipping inside a burner.
