A very colorful Japanese vase with flowers and butterflies flying to sip nectar from the flowers. Ginbari Fish scale enamels have been used in flower petals, and the colors are bright and shiny. The unmarked brass base is flat. Brass also shows on the inside of the mouth. The metal along the mouth rim has a reddish cast and is possibly copper. MEASUREMENTS 4 7/8" (12.4 cm) tall x 2 ¾" (7.0 cm) diameter. Weighs 5.6 oz (160 g) CONDITION There are no cracks, dents, or breaks. The enamels are still bright and colorful.
