A super large bowl that is hand painted by Matthew Adams from The Sascha Brastoff Factory. It pictures an Inuit hunter with harpoon in hand. The design is very realistic. The ceramic bowl is molded with inverted lip, and has a flat base with no foot. There are three spur marks on the base. The bowl is signed on the front by Matthew Adams, who worked in the Sascha Brastoff factory during the mid 1950s into the 1960s. There is a production number on the base of 099. MEASUREMENTS 14" (35.6 cm) tall x 15" (38.1 cm) wide x 4 3/8" (11 cm) deep. Weighs 3 lbs 11 oz (1700 g) CONDITION There are no breaks, or cracks. There is a repaired chip on the mouth rim. There is very slight wear in the well of the bowl. The painting is bright and fresh. A huge bowl to add to your mid-century décor or collection.
