From the 1950s, a sizable and gleaming copper relief artwork depicts a tiger scaling a tree in the jungle, surrounded by vines and philodendrons. Against a darkened backdrop, the three-dimensional copper depictions stand out prominently. It is framed with its original wide wood frame. The picture is unsigned. MEASUREMENTS Artwork – 15 in (38.1 cm) x 19 (28.3 cm) in Framed – 26 ¾ (67.9 cm) in x 22 ½ in (57.2 cm) x 1 1/8 in (2.9 cm) deep. Weighs 2 lbs 15 oz (1350 g) CONDITION There are some small dents to the picture and the top of the panel is not secured due to several of the brads having become loose. There is still plaster backing to the tiger covered with newsprint. This was to prevent the tiger from being damaged. The frame has some wear and dings. A picture to be a focal point.
