Offered is Department 56 The Heritage Village Collection Dickens' Village Series "The Maltings" #5835-9 Handpainted Porcelain. The building depicts a stone malt house built over an arched bridge with gray slate roof, snow accents, stone chimney, attached oast kiln with black cowl and thatched base, flower boxes with red bows, ivy detail, wooden door with signage "The Maltings", and exterior stairs leading over water. Marked on bottom "DICKENS' VILLAGE SERIES THE MALTINGS © Department 56 1989" with "INSPECTED Department 56" sticker. Measures approximately 5-1/2" tall x 5" wide x 4" deep per rulers shown. Comes in original box with illustration. The porcelain shows light surface wear and minor paint scuffs consistent with handling and storage; no large chips or cracks noted in photos. The original box shows edge wear, surface staining, light soiling, and scuffs consistent with age and storage. Styrofoam insert present; light cord or other accessories not pictured and not included unless shown. Lighting not tested. Sold as-is. Please refer to all photos for complete details and condition.
