Offered is Department 56 The Heritage Village Collection Dickens' Village Series Oliver Twist "Maylie Cottage" #5553-0 Handpainted Porcelain. The building depicts a thatched-roof cottage with brown thatch and yellow tile sections, white stone and half-timbered walls, stone chimneys with red and gray tops, green-shuttered windows, red front door with green wreath, and signage "MAYLIE COTTAGE" on the front, with snow accents. Marked on bottom "DICKENS' VILLAGE SERIES 'MAYLIE COTTAGE' © Department 56 1990" with "INSPECTED MADE IN CHINA FOR Department 56" sticker. Measures approximately 4-1/2" tall x 5-1/2" wide per rulers shown. Comes in original box with illustration and Heritage Village Collection branding. The porcelain shows light surface dust, minor paint scuffs and light soiling to the base edge consistent with handling and storage; no large chips or cracks noted in photos. The original box shows edge wear, corner creasing, surface scuffs, and light staining consistent with age and storage. Styrofoam insert present; light cord or other accessories not pictured and not included unless shown. Lighting not tested. Sold as-is. Please refer to all photos for complete details and condition.
