The books span from the 1970s through 2000. Overall Fair to Good used condition and varies by book. This book bundle includes: 1. Pooh’s Great Big Word Book, inspired by A. A. Milne, with illustrations after the style of Ernest H. Shepard. Dutton Children’s Books, ©2000, ISBN 0-525-46335-6. Large yellow hardcover. It introduces children to words, letters, numbers, colors, shapes and other basic concepts using Winnie-the-Pooh and Hundred Acre Wood characters. Pooh’s Great Big Word Book is in Good used condition. The hardcover is bright and attractive with relatively minor edge and corner and surface wear. Binding is solid and the interior is clean and colorful. The “This book belongs to” box is blank/unused. 2. Look at a Tree, written by Eileen Curran and illustrated by June Goldsborough, Troll Associates, ©1986. The number line ends in 1, indicating a first printing. An illustrated early-learning nature book that encourages children to observe trees, their appearance, growth and place in nature. Look at a Tree is in Fair to Good condition. Moderate cover rubbing, edge and corner wear and age-related handling. Interior remains colorful and readable. There is a school program-related writing or marking on the book. 3. Clifford’s Good Deeds, story and pictures by Norman Bridwell, Scholastic. The copyright page shows the original ©1975, 1985 copyrights; this particular copy is a later printing. ISBN 0-590-44292-9. Clifford tries to help others with good deeds, with humorous results, eventually becoming a hero. Clifford’s Good Deeds is in Good used condition. Covers retain strong color with moderate rubbing, scratches and edge and corner wear. Interior pages are clean, bright and intact. Binding is secure. 4. Monster on the Bus by Ellen Blance and Ann Cook, illustrated by Quentin Blake, Bowmar. Copyright ©1973; the copyright page specifically identifies this copy as the Second Printing, October 1973. ISBN 0-87320-0830-0. This is the most interesting vintage title in the group because of its early date and Quentin Blake illustrations. Monster on the Bus is in Fair used condition. This copy shows the most wear, including cover rubbing, creases, worn edges and corners, and school program markings dated 1974. There is also handwritten notation on the rear cover. The stapled binding remains intact and the illustrated pages are readable.
