A mid-20th-century hand-worked needlepoint tapestry wall hanging. The design depicts a vibrant still life bouquet of sunflowers in shades of yellow and cream with dark brown centres, accompanied by small blue accent flowers and green foliage, all contained within a blue-toned vase. The composition is set against a solid rust-coloured background. The piece is constructed with five crocheted loops at the top edge for suspension and is finished with a deep navy-blue tasselled fringe at the bottom. The reverse is fully lined with a maroon-coloured protective fabric. Condition: The item is in good vintage condition. The needlework remains intact with no visible holes, loose threads, or significant fraying. The yarn colours are saturated and vibrant. The maroon lining on the reverse and the crocheted hanging loops are secure and well-preserved.
