A two-part wooden bookcase hutch constructed from oak with a dark stained finish. The upper section comprises a three-bay open shelving unit, with each bay containing adjustable wooden shelves supported by metal pilaster strips. The base unit serves as a sideboard, featuring two flanking cupboard doors with decorative copper-toned metal pulls, each opening to reveal interior storage with adjustable shelving. The central portion of the base includes an open compartment with a single adjustable shelf. Three drawers run along the bottom, each fitted with a matching decorative metal pull handle and constructed with machine-cut dovetail joints. The piece is finished with a scalloped lower apron and stands on four short, shaped legs. Condition: General surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and domestic use. The piece shows some light scuffing to the edges but is free of major structural damage.
