Two framed photographic works by American artist Gerald Shak. The collection includes a black and white digital enhanced ink jet print titled Nude in the Window and a color study titled Gallery Image D-9. Both pieces are signed G. Shak in pencil on the matting and include original labels from a 2019 auction at The Baum School of Art. The larger piece measures 13.25 x 16.25 inches. Overall good condition. The matting for Nude in the Window exhibits prominent smudging and foxing. Minor surface wear is visible on both metal frames. About the Artist: Gerald L. Shak was an American photographer whose work included portraiture, figurative subjects and documentary photography. In addition to his photographic career, Shak was a professional meteorologist with the U.S. Weather Bureau/National Weather Service. His photographs have appeared in publications and photography auctions, including The Photo Review, and examples of his work were included in The Baum School of Art's annual art auctions in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
