Limited edition serigraph triptych on paper by Kensuke Wakeshima, titled Winter Solstice-A, B, & C, presents a stylized minimalist landscape. Each work bears a pencil signature reading K. Wakashima at the lower right, the title at center, and is numbered 30/100 at the lower left. Housed in a professional double mat and light wood frame, each composition utilizes a muted palette to depict rounded, snow-covered landforms. Each frame measures 31 x 41 inches. The prints are in excellent condition with no visible foxing or fading. The wood frame exhibits minor surface scuffs and nicks. About the Artist: Kensuke Wakeshima (Japanese, b. 1937) is a Japanese-American printmaker known particularly for his stylized landscape serigraphs. Born in Japan, he studied traditional Japanese art before immigrating to the United States in 1956, where he continued his studies at the Chouinard Art Institute and Art Students League of New York. Wakeshima exhibited extensively in national print exhibitions, and his distinctive landscapes combine simplified geometric forms with subtle, atmospheric color.
