Collection of Connecticut Fraternal Masons, O. U. A. M., and I. O. O. F. Items, Late 19th Century to Early 20th Century. These items came from the personal collection of Union Civil War soldier Frank G. Bragg of East Hartford, Connecticut. (1) 19th Century Order of United American Mechanics (O. U. A. M.) "In Memoriam" funeral badge ribbon. Features an American flag and a gathered rosette at top with a gold embroidered star. (1) O. U. A. M. badge with 13 Star American Flag ribbon. The badge is not attached to ribbon. (1) S. C. (State Council) O. U. A. M. of Connecticut Lafayette No. 37 badge with 13 Star American Flag ribbon. The badge is not attached to ribbon and the ribbon is in poor condition. (1) 1895 O.U.A.M. Semi-Centennial double-sided souvenir celluloid badge with ribbon. Measures 1 3/4" diameter. (1) O. U. A. M. 14th Anniversary Wadsworth Council No. 39 September 28, 1903 souvenir ribbon badge. Measures overall 3 3/4" long. (1) Small O. U. A. M. souvenir ribbon badge. Measures overall 2 1/4" long. (1) 50th Anniversary Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I. O. O. F.) Crescent Lodge No. 25 East Hartford, Conn. May 4, 1939 pinback celluloid button. Measures 1 1/8" diameter. (1) I. O. O. F. Crescent Lodge No. 25 East Hartford, Conn. red ribbon with gold lettering, fringe and celluloid top metal bar pin. Measure 7" long (not including fringe). The ribbon also has a black and silver ribbon attached to the same piece of fringe. It can be worn in either color. Both ribbons are marked at top, "Pat. Oct. 18-1892-Mar. 7-1893; The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J." Top bar is marked, "The Whitehead & Hoag Co." (1) I. O. O. F. 25th Anniversary 1889-1914 "FLT" (Friendship, Love, and Truth) commemorative pin. Measures approximately 1 3/4" diameter. Marked on back, "Noble & Westbrook....CT(?)." (1) I. O. O. F. New Haven, Connecticut Semi-Centennial silver toned metal badge and Fifty Years September 3rd 1839-1889 silver toned metal top bar. Badge is marked, "C. G. Braxmar Portlandt(?) St. New York." Measures 2 7/8" long. (1) I. O. O. F. 10th Anniversary 1819-1919 "Friendship, Truth, Love" gold toned badge, chain top bar, and red ribbon. Measures overall 3 1/4" long. (1) 1905 Connecticut Mason and Eastern star celluloid pinback button with portraits and titles of notable figures. Includes: Grand Master Asa P. Fitch, Grand Secretary John H. Barlow, Supt. of Masonic Home John O. Rowland, and Grand Matron Mary J. Silloway. Marked on back, "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J. U. S. A." Measures 2" diameter. (1) Eastern Star Grand Matron "M. (Mary) J. Silloway portrait celluloid button. Marked on back, "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J. U. S. A." Measures approximately 1 1/4" diameter. (1) Connecticut Masons Grand Masters Day, Sept. 23, 1911 double sided portrait medal with Masonic Home Wallingford, Connecticut top bar. Medal has a portrait of Randolph B. Chapman, Grand Master of Masons in Conn., and Wallace S. Moyle, President M. C. F. of Conn. Measures
