Collection of Connecticut Firefighter, Band, Etc. Badges Ribbons, and Medals, Early 20th Century. These items came from the personal collection of Union Civil War soldier Frank G. Bragg of East Hartford, Connecticut. (1) East Hartford To Winsted September 18, 1912 Firemen's Day Celebration and Parade ribbon with metal pinback horse-drawn fire hose cart/wagon. Ribbon is marked on back, "Noble & Westbrook, Hartford, Conn." Topper measures 1 1/4" X 2 3/4". (1) Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J firemen's celluloid pinback badge with partial ribbon. The maker's mark on back can barely be made out. Measures approximately 1 3/4" diameter. (1) 1893-1928 East Hartford Connecticut State Fireman's Convention and Field Day, August 16-17, 1929 ribbon celluloid badge. The maker's mark has rubbed off but button matches the previous Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J. (1) Guest Firemen's Field Day and Tournament West Haven, Conn., Aug. 27, 1913 celluloid fireman's shirt T-bar pin badge. Marked at bottom, "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J. Pat. June 6, 1905." Measures approximately 1 3/4" X 2 7/8". (1) Official Souvenir 35th Annual Convention Conn. Fire & Drum Corps; Y. M. T. A. & B. Fire & Drum Band; New Britain, Conn., August 14, 1920 celluloid pinback button with photograph of band. Paper label is marked, "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J." Measures 1 1/2" diameter. (2) Hartford, Conn. Annual Parade & Field Day Royal Typewriter Fife & Drum Corps photograph celluloid pinback buttons with ribbons, 1920 and 1924. The back of one is labeled, "New England Flag and Regalia Co. Badges Stamford, Conn." Both measure approximately 1 3/4" diameter. (1) 31st Annual Convention Connecticut Fifers and Drummers Association Rockville, Conn., August 18 & 19, 1916 ribbon and celluloid photograph of band badge. Badge: 1 3/4" diameter. (1) 1908 Hartford Bridge Dedication commemorative double sided medal. Measures approximately 1 3/4" diameter. (2) Hartford Bridge, October 6-8, 1903 commemorative medals with bridge top bar and stone chip from bridge. One top bar has remnants of a ribbon. The back is marked, "Chip From Stone In The Bridge Guaranteed By Noble & Westbrook Hartford, Conn." The medals measures approximately 1 5/8" diameter. (2) Amalgamated Sheet Metal Worker's International Alliance, Local No. 77 Hartford, Connecticut celluloid badges. One badge is missing ribbon. Measures 1 1/4" diameter. (1) 1915 50th Anniversary of the Plainville Camp Ground in Connecticut brass medal. Marked on back, "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J." Measures 1 5/8" X 1 3/8". (1) "Deutsche Tag Feier" (German Day Celebration) Hartford, Connecticut., October 3, 1904 souvenir ribbon badge. Celluloid badge features crossed American and German flags. Measures 1 3/4" diameter. Also included in lot: (1) Late 19th Century or Early 20th Century celluloid photo pinback button. Measures 5/8" diameter. (1) Goodyear's MFG. Co. New York rubber boot advertisement. Measures 1 3/4" X 2 7/8". (1) Oval Boy
