A decorative metal birdcage and metal tripod stand. The birdcage features a tapered cylindrical body with vertical bars and a domed top terminating in a circular suspension loop. The upper portion of the cage is hinged and secured by a pivoting latch. The cage is finished in white paint. A black-painted metal tripod stand, which is embellished with a decorative ring of scrollwork. A separate butterfly-shaped metal ornament is also present. Overall height approx 87.5 cm Cage base diameter approx 24 cm. Condition: Weathered condition consistent with outdoor display. Visible surface rust is present on the birdcage latch, structural junctions, and the base. The paintwork exhibits general chipping and soiling. One decorative butterfly element is detached from the main structure.
