An assortment of traditional hand-woven baskets in varied styles, including examples in natural willow, split wood, and coiled rush. The group includes several gathering baskets with fixed, high-arched handles, a set of nested rectangular wicker trays, and a large, deep laundry or storage basket of coiled construction with integrated side handles. The lot also features a split-wood basket, possibly ash or oak, with a scalloped rim band and cross-handle, along with smaller round and oval decorative wicker baskets in natural and dark brown finishes. H approx 68.5 cm W approx 53.5 cm (measured against a tape measure). Condition: The collection is in good vintage condition. The pieces show surface dust and light debris within the weave consistent with period storage. The natural fibres exhibit patination and light wear commensurate with age and use. No significant structural breaks or major losses to the weaving are observed.
