First edition, inscribed by the author in the year of publication: "Many happy vocalizations for your kindness here at Cranbrook Dian Fossey Sept 1983." Together with a 3 paragraph autograph thank you card signed by Fossey to "Patricia and Dennis", thanking them for hosting her before her presentations at the Cranbrook Institute of Science, outside of Detroit, in the fall of 1983. Condition Some shelfwear and fading to jacket.
