Paris: Panckoucke, 1789.] Mounted engraved frontispiece from the Encyclopedie Methodique and 33 engraved heraldic plates (28 double-page, 1 quadruple-page, and 4 full page) after Benard. [16] pp manuscript index in two columns at end. Modern half cloth over marbled boards. A bound collection of heraldic plates from the famed Encyclopédie méthodique par ordre des matières, which began to appear in 1782. Condition: Occasional old marginal dampstaining, small tear to folds of quadruple page plate.
