Illustrated throughout. 511 pp. Full brown limp morocco elaborately decorated in blind, blue, red, yellow, white, and green, upper cover centered with relief bust portrait of Dante, lower cover centered with relief coat of arms in red and yellow, relief bust portraits of Virgil and Beatrice on both covers. spine titles gilt, marbled endpapers, circular label of "Succ. B. Seeber Firenze" to front pastedown endpaper; housed in folding cloth chemise and quarter calf slipcase.
