One carton of Daisy Golden Bullseye BB caliber 4.5mm steel air gun shot, number 40, marked BB count 1500. The yellow box carries the Daisy bullseye logo and the SINCE 1886 line, and the bottom panel reads Daisy Manufacturing Company, Rogers, Arkansas, a subsidiary of Walter Kidde and Company, printed in USA number 43163. The back panel advertises the then new Daisy 840 single stroke pneumatic that shoots BBs or 177 caliber pellets. The Kidde ownership dates this carton to the 1970s or early 1980s, which is what makes it more than a box of shot. Collectors of Daisy air guns and advertising buy these period cartons for display alongside a Red Ryder or a Model 25. The pour spout corner is still in place. Condition is good for age. The carton is worn with scuffed and rubbed corners, a strip of yellowed tape across the top and light soiling. The contents were not opened or counted.
