Gerald A. Chacon original untitled monotype depicting repeated stylized $1,000 bill imagery incorporating portraits of Native Americans, layered with vivid blocks of pink, orange, turquoise, blue and purple over financial-market imagery. Handwritten information accompanying the work identifies the subjects as Navajo/Diné and notes an approximate size of 24" x 24". The reverse is signed by Gerald A. Chacon and inscribed “Southwest Indian Art Fair,” “Award of Excellence/Blue Ribbon,” Tucson, Arizona, Feb. 2014, documenting recognition of the work at the event. Presented on stretched canvas.
