Vintage Coach Willis Crossbody Bag 9927

This vintage Coach Willis bag is a structured briefcase-style crossbody crafted from British Tan glove tanned leather. Featuring a signature dowel top, top handle, and removable adjustable strap, the piece is secured by a brass turn lock closure. The interior pocket displays an impressed creed reading THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN THE UNITED STATES followed by the serial number J6D-9927, and a leather hangtag embossed with COACH is attached to the hardware. This bag has not been authenticated by an expert but may have all the qualities of a genuine piece. The leather exterior shows expected signs of use for a vintage piece, including surface scratches and some minor staining. There is notable scuffing and leather loss to the piping at the corners and edges. The brass hardware exhibits a natural patina and some wear to the finish.
