This ten-piece Irish hand-sponged earthenware set from Nicholas Mosse features the signature Old Rose pattern. The decoration displays burgundy blossoms and green vines against a cream ground with blue borders. Each base is printed with a square mark containing a bird above the name NICHOLAS MOSSE POTTERY. The large bowl is 4.5 by 9 inches, the small bowls are 3 by 6 inches, and the pitcher is 6.5 inches tall. The set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Minor surface scuffing and dark shelf wear marks are present on the unglazed foot rings.
