MCM large tote bag in the signature cognac Visetos monogram coated canvas with leather trim. This vintage piece from the Munich-based house features a structured rectangular body with a front exterior slip pocket, dual top handles, and an adjustable shoulder strap. A gold-tone metal plate on the front is inscribed with MCM, the laurel wreath logo, MUNCHEN, and serial number D6318, while the interior contains a leather patch printed with Michael Cromer, the MCM logo, HANDMADE, and number 04926, and a second patch reading MADE IN GERMANY. This bag has not been authenticated by an expert but may have all the qualities of a genuine piece. The bag measures 10.5 by 15 by 5.5 inches. The bag is in good vintage condition with wear as expected for an item of this age, including minor creasing to the coated canvas and visible scuffing and darkening to the leather piping at the corners. The long shoulder strap shows cracking to the sealant along the edges, and the gold-tone hardware exhibits surface scratches and light tarnish consistent with use.
