A pair of hand-carved wooden swan decoys finished in a distressed off-white paint. This coordinated set features one swan in an alert pose and a smaller figure in a preening posture. Both birds are detailed with incised feathering, black beaks, and inset dark glass eyes. The large swan is 12 by 18 by 6 inches and the small swan is 6 by 12 by 5 inches. Both figures exhibit surface wear consistent with age, including minor scuffs, scratches, and areas of thinning paint. The bases show typical shelf wear and minor abrasions at the edges.
