This original impressionistic landscape on stretched canvas depicts a tranquil picnic scene titled Plaisir champêtre. The composition features figures resting under a large tree in a sunlit meadow, rendered with vibrant, loose brushstrokes. The work is signed Monique Cyr Laframboise in the lower right and bears a detailed inscription on the reverse identifying the artist and location of Mirabel. 16 x 12 inches. Excellent overall condition; no visible cracking or paint loss. Minor age-related yellowing to the tape on the reverse.
