Antique yellow custard glass souvenir mug from the early 1900s, featuring a diamond and peg pattern. Contains uranium, which gives a nice green glow. 2.75"h. Uranium glass is collectible glassware made with small amounts of uranium oxide, producing its distinctive yellow, green, or amber colouring. Most famously, uranium glass fluoresces a vivid green under ultraviolet light. Popular from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century, it remains highly sought after by collectors for its unusual colour, craftsmanship, and characteristic UV glow.
