Vintage 1930s Art Deco “Grantham” wall pocket vase by Bagley & Co., made from frosted green uranium glass with a distinctive ribbed fan design. 6"h x 4.5"w at top. Uranium glass is collectible glassware made with small amounts of uranium oxide, producing its distinctive yellow, green, or amber colouring. Most famously, uranium glass fluoresces a vivid green under ultraviolet light. Popular from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century, it remains highly sought after by collectors for its unusual colour, craftsmanship, and characteristic UV glow.
