Rare Brutalist Tree Relief Studio Ceramic Lamps

Updated September 22, 2026

Pair of rare brutalist tree relief lamps. An exceptional, highly documented true pair of mid-century studio art pottery table lamps featuring a striking brutalist high-relief design. Handcrafted by the celebrated regional ceramicist Eva and Meinrad Hopf, these masterfully thrown bases depict a continuous, highly textured architectural forest or tree motif. Fully intact and written provenance incised across the undersides of both raw claw bases. "Eva + Meinrad Hopf, Hoffmann fur Dijkman (Hoffmann for Dijkman) Fur den Sonnenraum (For the sunroom)" this layered history proves the lamps were custom-designed in collaboration with a regional designer for a specific client's solarium.
