Ink and wash framed monochrome artwork of the male nude titled "Gregory" by Gerald "Jerry" Murray Spicer (1935-2005). His work is known for dynamic, expressive paintings and lifework studies. The date on this piece, 1993, is his peak active painting years. He was born in Barbourville, Nova Scotia and exhibited across Canada in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa. He was dedicated to art education and is widely collected across Canada. He was including representation in the Nova Scotia Centennial Gallery Collection.
