Philip Iverson (1965–2006), acrylic on board, "Abstract Seascape," 24" x 24", signed and dated on reverse 2005 (framed). Philip Iverson was a Fredericton-born Canadian expressionist painter known for his bold colour, energetic brushwork and expressive landscapes and abstractions. He graduated from Mount Allison University with a BFA in 1990 and exhibited widely across Canada. His work was shown at Gallery 78 in Fredericton and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, which presented his work as part of A New Brunswick Trilogy in 1999.
