Neo Rauch two-tone serigraph print titled Gehornt, dated 1996, featuring a surreal figurative composition rendered in black and muted blue-gray tones. The scene depicts several figures interacting with oversized horn-like forms and architectural elements, reflecting Rauch's distinctive combination of figurative imagery, dreamlike narrative, and elements associated with the New Leipzig School. Framed and presented under glass. 25" x 17" framed. Neo Rauch (b. 1960, Germany) is a German painter and printmaker born in Leipzig. He studied at the Hochschule fur Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig under Arno Rink and later as a master student of Bernhard Heisig. Rauch became one of the best-known representatives of the New Leipzig School and is recognized for enigmatic figurative works that combine realism, memory, history, and dreamlike imagery. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and major European museums.
