After they met in 1935, Dora became one of Picasso's most important sources of inspiration throughout the 1930s and 1940s. This work is a quintessential example of Picasso's fusion of Cubism and Surrealism. He fragmented Dora's face into geometric planes captured from multiple viewpoints. Bold colours (such as the yellow sweater, purple skirt and multicoloured hat) and forceful lines create a fractured yet powerfully charged visual effect. Comes with frame and COA certificate.
