Late-19th-Early-20th-Century 18K-Gold Diamond-Set Locket-Hunter-Case 20-Ruby Pocket-Watch, With Original Brand-Marked Case .

Dial diameter: 26.5-mm Wt:22.39g

18-carat-gold diamond-set locket-hunter-case pocket-watch manufactured by Ed.-KOEHN, Geneva, Switzerland, late-19th-early-20th-century, presented in its original branded fitted case. The 18K-gold case is set with diamonds to the bezel. It integrates full-hunter protection and locket-function. The front cover opens to a hollow compartment for keepsakes such as miniature photographs or hair mementos. Inner back-cover engraved with eight world-fair prize-medal emblems, engraved script: Balindr??, 20 rubis, serial-number N- 200330. Manual-wind movement fitted with 20 rubies. Original period case with red-satin lining gilt-stamped "Ed.-KOEHN GENEVE". Surface wear commensurate with age on 18K-gold case; diamonds intact; satin lining exhibits minor age-related yellowing; movement winds manually and locket-hunter cover operates properly. Composite diamond-set locket-hunter watches of this variant are scarce; survival of the maker's-original case is highly desirable, overall in good preserved condition.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
