Kander, Tamar (Israeli / American, b. 1958). Field In Midwest. Oil stick work on paper. 3 7/8" x 4 3/8" (Sight). 14 1/2" x 11 1/2" (Frame). Removed from frame for photography and inspection, frame has pebble texture acrylic sheet. Work is taped to mat with a cardboard backing. Tamar Kander is a mixed-media painter whose atmospheric, globally influenced works appear in museum, corporate, and private collections across several continents. Trained in Johannesburg, London, and New York, she works from her studio outside Bloomington, Indiana.
