Rogers, Phyllis J. (American, 1925-2014). Untitled woodcut and relief. Designated AP and signed below platemark. 6 1/4" x 6" (Plate). 13 1/4" x 12 1/4" (Frame). Matted in a wood frame. Not examined out of frame. Phyllis J. Rogers was an American printmaker, painter, and sculptor whose career evolved from portraiture and still life into masterful aquatint and etching, and later digital processes. Her work is distinguished by its rich tonal contrasts, layered transparency, and the acclaimed Botanical Series. A member of SAGA and the Boston Printmakers, she is represented in major public and healthcare collections throughout Ohio.
