Vintage Mid Century Geometric Mod Needlepoint Art

Updated September 21, 2026

Vintage Mid Century Geometric Mod Needlepoint Wall Art This vintage 1970s textile art piece features a hand-stitched geometric canvas needlepoint design showcasing a striking "mod" diamond grid. Set against a vibrant raspberry red background, the central pattern incorporates contrasting textures and stitched mosaic tiles in warm gold, orange, and deep red tones. The completed canvas is uniquely displayed in its original period-correct plastic square frame, secured along the outer border with decorative metallic studs that give it a distinct retro flair. Its bold lines and mid-century aesthetic make it a wonderful statement piece for collectors of vintage 1960s-1970s home decor, abstract fiber art, and retro studio crafts.
