1933 Worlds Fair Dirigold Verithin Buckle Set This rare 1933 Chicago World's Fair "A Century of Progress" men's accessory set was crafted by Verithin using Dirigold, a gorgeous solid golden-bronze alloy stamped "Solid Metal, Not Plated." Housed in its original vintage presentation box, the three-piece set includes a "Giant Grip" mechanical belt buckle, a matching tie bar, and an insignia piece. Both the buckle and the tie clip feature beautiful Art Deco engine-turned line patterns accented by vibrant blue enamel souvenir shields marking the historic 1933 exposition. The mechanics are in good functional order, and the set shows a light, authentic aged patina with minor reverse surface oxidation, making it a spectacular find for collectors of pre-war World's Fair memorabilia and Art Deco menswear jewelry.
