A yellow gold box link necklace chain of Italian origin (recheck). The chain is composed of square, box-like links that form a smooth, continuous strand. The piece is secured with a standard spring ring clasp. A flat rectangular hallmark tag is attached near the clasp. One side of the tag is stamped ITALY. The reverse side is stamped with a star symbol followed by 325 and the letters VI. The VI mark identifies the manufacturing location as the province of Vicenza, Italy. The 325 stamp indicates a gold purity of approximately 8 karats. Length approx. 43 cm (measured against a visible tape measure) Weight: 2.00 g (measured on a visible digital scale). Condition: The chain is in good wearable condition with no visible kinks, breaks, or repairs to the links. The spring ring clasp is functional.
